3000 Rupees is approximately 66.45 US Dollars / 52.15 Euros, per www.xe.com.

The Pinnacle "PCTV" uses a Connexant 878A A->D chip, per www.tv-cards.com.

Many members have 878A-based cards, and have been satisfied with their results. However, that satisfaction comes from using different software; even different drivers. Have you seen our FAQ and our Capture Guide? It is possible that changing hardware will not fix whatever is causing you dissatisfaction.

hmm.ok..which software shud i use to capture to xvid....
an episode of 30minz..approx file size - 90mb!!
wat u suggest ?

Capture to Xvid depends upon the speed of your processor.

I'd suggest capture using Huffy, then process that to Xvid, unless
you have a 20 GHz machine, or don't care about quality.

You will find that both of these will answer MANY of your questions.
