Old photos on DVD.

What method could advise to me for better results:
- the suitable material;
- the script to use,
- recommended software .

NOTE: I have old and somme recent photos.

No opinion on the transfer of photos on a DVD? :scared:

Currently i use that method:

1. digitalization with a Canoscan lide 20 with safeguard in Jpeg;
2; Encoding with Canopus procoder 2 (Vob)

Somebody has another idea, please?
