Changing Frame Rate

Hello to all, i using VirtualDubMod and i need to change the frame rate to a videoclip using this function:

Menu > Video > Frame Rate > Source Rate adjustment > Change to xx frames per second

When i use this function (i know that "Changing the framerate will cause audio/video desyncrhronization") i lost of course the syncro with audio and video because the video change duration and the audio remain like the original one, can i change also the audio length to resync with video ? how ?
