I am a newbie to burning on a dl disc. I used pgcedit to create the .iso file following the instructions as outlined and am using imgburn version 1.3.0 to burn it. When I try to burn, I get the following error:

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: None Found! (VTS_01)
This image has not been mastered correctly for burning onto a double layer (OTP Track Path) disc.
None of the cells meet the 'DVD-Video specification' criteria for a potential layer break position.
Do you want to continue anyway?

I read that I want to open the .mds file instead of the .iso file.

What is the .mds file, and where can I locate it?

Thanks for your help in advance.

I'm not sure the mds file would help here. Your image just isn't fit for burning onto an OTP DVD+R DL disc.

You'll need to rebuild the image into one that is.

Might I suggest using PgcEdit.

I followed the step by step instructions of pgcedit. I used dvd decrypter to decrypt a movie. Then used pgcedit to create the .iso file. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and what I need to do?

I used dvd decrypter to decrypt a movie. Then used pgcedit to create the .iso file.Since there's no compression involved, use DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 in "ISO mode" to "Read .ISO" (rip to your hard drive) and then use DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 to "Write .ISO" (burn) - select the ".MDS" file, NOT the ".ISO" file.

As an alternative, you can use "IMGBurn to burn...
