The Ritek media I'm using--DVD+R DL 2.4x will ONLY burn at 2.4x. I've tried two different burners. That is, both Nero and DVD Decrypter do not respect the chosen burn speed. I've found a few other posts describing a similar issue.
My question is: How can you force your burner to burn at 1x? I am getting some stuttering at the very end of discs burned at 2.4x. I think burning at 1x would improve things. Yes, I know the "real" solution is to use better media. However, I'd like to get some usage out of these Riteks.
