Yes, you reauthor the disc and you add in a subtitle track.

Yes, I know how. I expect lots of people here know how. Maybe if you tell us what you tried (subs originally in what format, converted to what format and how, authoring app used, what went wrong, etc.), someone can show you where you went wrong, or recommend a better method for you to use.
