playback software that uses x264 hardware acceleration

i have a radeon x1600 card which has hardware 264 accelaration.
therefore my question is - which playback software will make use of it?
i tried with power dvd 7 but the 'use acceleration' box was not ticked and was greyed out - the 264 file i tried was playing, but not at full frame rate - so presumably my pc really was doing the job.

ATI player maybe...

but I read that CoreAVC was faster then ATI HW acceleration.

you could get all the frames, but not in realtime ;)
