h.264 = avc and there's at least 4 avc codecs in my codec comparison.. just the ones that happend to be the most popular around here ;)

Have you seen XviD AVC avalible lately? I read over xvid forums they got SMP for xvid now, so it's likely doom9 is talking about that.

@asdfsauce: may I ask what your problem is? I gave a link to a nice list of codecs with the info which one has SMP optimization and which one does not. And since the list was compiled back in December, I also mentioned the information that is now out of date - if I hadn't, somebody else would've corrected me eventually. That list is, to the best of my knowledge, the most comprehensive of widely used codecs to date. Why should I bother just ripping out the AVC titles if I have something more complete to offer?
