View Full Version : Tagging off/FLAC

I recently converted a couple of wav files to ogg/FLAC. Initially, MPC wouldn't play them, but is sorted that out by getting a better ogg filter (oggcodec), the problem I am having now, is that I can't tag these ogg/FLAC files. I was under the impression that ogg/FLAC files could use Vorbis comments (Or at least, they used an identical clone). But tagging failed. Anyone have any clue on how to tag ogg/FLAC files? Or should I stick to regurlar .flac files. To be fair, I only chose ogg/FLAC because I don't like the the four letter extension and my current filetype icon pack doesn't have a FLAC icon.

Another question, would these tags work in winamp (winamp decodes ogg throught directshow).
