Hello,

This question is specific to the DivX Pro 6.2 encoder (as part of the DivX Create bundle).

When I am recording video I am getting a window that comes up saying:

Feedback Window. I cannot disable this window. I try in the options in Advanced to not show the feedback window. And yet it shows. Also, it seems there *might* be a bug. When I start capturing, I get an error:

Invalid width, please check your crop settings.

I am not selecting to crop the video in the DivX 6.2 codec settings. My source is 800x600 at 24 bit. I have everything else set to the default settings.

I have, for now, gone back to the DivX Pro 5.2 package until I can get this problem resolved.

Thanks
Mike McWhinney

800x600 is too large for the Home Theater profile (default configuration).

The next lowest resolutions supported are 720x480@30fps and 720x576@25fps. If you want to keep the higher resolution you need to select High Definition profile.

As far as the Feedback Window is concerned - which version of the 6.2 codec do you have? Community codec, or DivX Pro/DivX Pro trial?

How can I tell exactly which version I have? I have 6.2 pro (the paid version that comes with DivXCreate).

I changed to High Definition profile and now I no longer get the error. For some reason I'm not getting the feedback window either...wooHOO!
