Iīm using DVDlab Pro for authoring and When I burn the DVD the some chapters get froze,
*I use WinAVIVideoConverter for converting the AVI file to DVD
* Voedit for demux the DVD
* Then DVBlab pro for menus and Subtitles

I used a converter for AVI to video (*.m2v) and audio (*.ac3) directly but I canīt remember what It was, anybody knows one?

I have the same problem with DVDLab Pro, my DVD freeze every few seconds. Th problem disappears when I use DVDLab, the standard version. Also note the file saved by PRO is not readable by the standard version, so you have to reauthor the DVD again.

All DVDs authored by DVDLAB PRO 1.6 when played on my PS2 freeze every few seconds. However when I author the same DVD using standard version of DVDLAB, it plays fine. Anyone has the same experience? The PRO version is buggy, the STANDARD version is more bug free.

So do the Disc`s produced by PRO work okay on a Software Player/DVD player other than ps/2?

Which part of Lab-pro is producing the glitchy playback?,the creation of the vob files,or the burning of the vob files.

Try authoring the dvd in Lab-pro,then burn the files produced using a different program (ie.nero.etc).Set booktype to DVD-ROM.

@levisp and rs008f

For such a critical and basic problem to exist in a $200 program would be totally unacceptable. I'd suggest you email the the publisher at:

I used NERO to burn the DVD, I think something is up with the compiler in DVDLAB Pro, anyway, I don't need the PRO, I just need the Standard version. Problem solved for me. Others who insist on using the PRO version should contact Media Chance.

@rs008fProblem solved for me.It's good to hear you've resolved your problem ;>}

In light of the severity of the problem you encountered using the "Pro" version, you should probably seek a refund from the publisher...

(It's really hard to understand how they could release the program with such a huge flaw)
