in the next release when ever a step sucessfully completes delete the files not needed anymore. An option for this would be cool and save hd space.

Under the "Misc." tab unclick "Don't delete any files".

Or do you mean something more?

its unchecked but it doesn't delete files created in the movie folder sometimes over 30 gigs of stuff.

Deletion of unnecessary files only works if your target is SVCD. In xx2DVD mode this checkbox has no effect. When the current version was still in Beta state I suggested to Mr. DVD2SVCD to fix this, but he decided to leave it as it is for now.

So I guess you have to live with it for the time being. Hard drive space is pretty cheap these days...

Good to know. As I never use the setting (may have to recover), I never ran across the issue.
