I've tried 2x both unsucesfull to convert a mp4 to a DivX move w/ audio.

First time with MediaCoder resulted in video and no audio.

Second try with RiverPast using Divx 6.02 resulted in black video and no audio.

File only plays in VLC player and media stream info is:

Stream 0:

Codec: avc1
Lanugage: English
Resolution: 720x304
Framerate 25.0000000

Stream 1:
Codec: mp4a
Language: English
Type: Audio
Channels: 6
Sample Rate 48000 HZ
Bits Per Sample: 16
Bitrate: 4608

Stream 2:
Codec: spu
Language English
Type: Subtitle

General:
Duration: 1:31:48

I need this to fit on 1 cd. Thanks!

Given that it only plays in VLC, you need a h264 directshow filter (use Google).

After that you should be able to open it in AviSynth w/
DirectShowSource("yourfile.mp4")

The avs file can be opened in e.g. VirtualDub.

Using the FFMpeg setting in MediaCoder and choosing the AC3 option ended up encoding a video that dixv could play w/ audio.

Thanks for the reply though.
