Question: DTS 6 ch to DD 5.1 conversion is possible?

there is probably a way to do it in one step that someone more experienced will post, but you can convert dts to 6ch wav with foobar2k than use belight/besweet to encode 6ch ac3.
you will have to look into bit rate and sample rate issues though.
Before posting I converted a dts file into 24 bit/ 48khz wav (my usual foobar settings). I ran it through belight and the ac3 didn't come out right. Then I converted the wav to 16 bit/ 44khz and ran through belight. It came out ok but had the low volume problem I have seen mentioned.
