How to read a .sup file?

I have three .sup subtitle files and I'm trying to determine which one is the english track. I've searched both google and this forum, and have found how to go from .vob > .sub, sub > .sup, etc, but no program or process take a .sup and figure out what is in it!

You can look at the contents of a sup using say dvdsubedit or subtitlecreator.
