Which decoder to use?

is there any recommended decoder to use? im using the default DGDecode, which i believe is version 1.4.5 with DVD-RB Pro. i noticed that the free version of DVD-RB comes with version 1.1.

The freeware version doesn't support anything greater than v1.1.0 (yet), so you really don't have a choice there. Although there are lots of improvements in the newer DGINDEX/DGDECODE package, most of them don't really apply to the way DVD-RB uses DGDECODE. I have found, though, one disc that uses a strangely formatted field based encoding that v1.10 can't read (but v1.4.5 can). It's been a while, though, and I can't remember the title.
