Latest Nero Recode 2 brings huge slow-down?

I think the latest 2.3.0.8 version dramatically slows down the encoding / compiling process. With the previous versions, when 100% was reached (either with re-encoding, or with no-compression [just re-compiling] ), that was it. Now, it reaches 99-100% but doesn't complete. You have to wait for "recode to copy files" for 5+ minutes! With a small investigation, it looks like NR creates 'backup/temp' files and at the end, it copies everything to the final destination folder. A shame, NR isn't fast anymore, hope this is fixed. I mostly use 'entire dvd-to-dvd' and hard-disk folder modes, didn't thoroughly check the rest.

Problem still there with Nero 7.5.1.1. It's there when destination is hard disk folder.

I might be adding fuel to the fire here but I've read in a German newsgroup that dvdshrink does no longer work on Recode (if he ever did that is) and that undoubtedly would explain any decline in quality since the Nero coder team is messing things up as usual.

The GUI in Recode and Shrink is pretty much identical... I'd be very surprised if the creator of Shrink wasn't involved in Recode...
I've read elsewhere they were supposed to fix this with version 7.3.x.x but they jumped to 7.5.1.1 without fixing it. It's quite a ridiculous feature, it creates the complete dvd to the parent directory of your selected destination folder, and when done, it copies everything all over again to the final folder. Go figure. Last recommended version for Nero / Recode is 7.0.8.2.
