Hello,
i use sharktooth's x264/megui profiles, HQ slowest to be precise, but im wondering if there are any settings i should change that will result in better quality for a 50fps output?
thankyou :)

The only differences I can see between 50fps and 25fps material are that 50fps needs a higher bitrate to accomodate the higher amount of data (but not double, because there is a lot of redundancy) and there will probably be less motion between frames, which means you could (but I haven't done any tests, so you should test this out first) lower the motion search range if you are using umh motion search method.
Also, you could consider varying the choices for frame type decision. Make sure that you allow plenty of b-frames, because increasing them shouldn't hurt quality (x264 won't put them in if it doesn't need them) and the extra redundancy of 50fps could mean that b-frames might be even more useful.
