I don't know, but VBR audio should not be used in AVI files under any circumstances.
You might save a few bytes in size, but edition of such media is a mission: impossible, and compatibility is also compromised.

@imdaman
Hi!
Perhaps you don't have NanDub set up properly. Read the information at the following link:

How did you resolve your problem?

First i did a first-pass encoding (which i never did) and i setup the setting shown at the page you gave me (thanks for the link) The settings really explained my problem because my default settings for bitrate was so high which explains why my movies came out to be 5 gigs before.

So, you can now access the video codecs and compression under NanDub? If so, I'm glad to hear that you're now a happy camper ;>}

well from what the site showed me, i think nandub only encodes with Dvix codec but im fine with that :)

From the NanDub docsI've coded Nandub for DivX 3.11alpha and MPEG4v2 and it won't work with any other more recent VKI patches or bundles à la 3.20 or the likes.

Is Nandub a program only uses DivX codec ? :o

More specifically, according to the docs it uses ONLY DivX 3.11alpha and MPEG4v2
