is it possible to enter values between two quantizers (19,20) ie 19.997 and how? thx

no. use 2-passes or ABR if you want to hit an exact bitrate.

Not sure if this is what you want, but set the minimum and maximum quantizer, and use ABR mode.

well, i was just wondering if there are more quantizers than could be selected in megui, like 19,1 to 20.

you mean by selecting ie abr 200 but giving max quantizer 20, min quantizer 19, x264 would be forced to use these quantizers and output a stream with a bitrate other than 200?

The quantizer is an integer. Either 19 or 20.

I suggest you follow the advice, and try ABR if you want to control the file size more accurately.
