I keep both DVD DECRYPTER and SMARTRIPPER on my system Overall I prefer DVDD. The best part about SMARTRIPPER is that when you demux audio tracks it gives you the complete file info as to type of audio, number of channels, bit rate, and delay in the file name. Is this possible with DVDD? I know the info is available because it is contained in the stream information txt file that it outputs. Is there a way to format the output file names like SMARTRIPPER does?

Yes and no. DVDD will not create files exactly like Smartripper, but it does provide most of the informtation. You can get some in ISO mode or IFO mode. Also under the settings there are numerous options to output extra files with extra information, such as chapter information etc.

Do you really need DVDD to do this? I mean there are plenty of freeware programs that exist that will tell you more than DVDD. All you have to do is search around a little.
