does it matter if i am using my computer while running shrink on a disc? even if im running say a game? what i am wondering is if the quality is going to take a hit, im sure it will take longer but im not worried about that.

Well, if Shrink crashes, I guess it matters, if not...? I've heard it suggested to create a separate user account and switch to the second account while transcoding/encoding, but I've always just left the thing alone. How long does it take to "Shrink" a file on your machine? 20-30 minutes?

if it is about a 50 something % shrink and i do deep analysis and sharp correction it takes a little over 2 hours. if it has no shrink needed it taks 25 min
