Hi folks,
I'm trying to convert a VBR Mp3 to CBR, changing the frame rate in the process using the newest BeLight and BeSweet.
Demuxed the sound using VirtualDub, that seems to go fine.
The problem i'm getting, as soon as I hit Start Processing, it just jumps straight to "Transcoding Finished" and has created a file size of 0KB. I had similar problems before, but got it to work by renaming the output file in the commandline. Could you please tell me if you see anything wrong with this....
BeSweet.exe -core( -input "C:\Documents and Settings\Home\Desktop\ffs.mp3" -output "C:\Documents and Settings\Home\Desktop\gaah.mp3" -logfile "C:\Documents and Settings\Home\Desktop\ffs.log" ) -azid( -s stereo -L -3db ) -ota( -hybridgain -r 23.976 25000 ) -lame( -b 320 )
At a complete loss here, its driving me crackers.
All I am wanting to do is convert the frame rate of the AVI to 25fps.

Seem to have got it to get a step further, but I am now getting an error 32.
Error 32: No input-data was found (wrong substream?)
Quiting...
w3rd! :(

Could you test with this version (http://kurtnoise.free.fr/BeLight/BeLight-0.22beta_20060315.7z) please ?
and btw, keep in mind that your demuxed file is embedded in WAV. Use VirtualdubMod to demux your audio stream.

Yeah, that's what I usually do. But tried to do the WAV route too.
I'll try this version then report straight back.
Thank you

last point for you..Use File --> Add file in the menu instead of drag&drop. I'm fixing this.

Really strange..... Get an error and this is the log file, not much to go by.
The problem I have noticed, I rename the output file using the commandline interface, but when I run the process, the file appears with the new name on the desktop, but within the program it doesn't rename the file.

Don't rename your output file then. BeLight don't overwrite your file anyway.

That's the thing, the reason I started renaming the files is because it was the only way I could get it to work before.
For e.g file name woot.mp3 ==> woot.mp3 and it would finish and all that would be left is a file called woot.mp3 that was 0kb. lol
It says transcode is running , Time Elapsed will go up ...as it should, Time Remaining is frozen on 00:00:01.
Really strange.

Right, It now renames the file itself using that method.
So it creates a woot_1.mp3 , but then I get an error but it doesn't show anything in the log file.
Suppose it's progress.

So, it's an issue with your input file.

Now it's doing it with a file I have managed to do before.
At a complete loss here. lol

Think I have found the problem, the frame rate was off by one digit under Advanced Settings. How strange...
Thanks for your help , and the tip about not drag and dropping.
