stripes

How comes that stripes appears when watching my film-files. They only appear when something is moving. The stribes appears horisontal.

the stripes you are seeing are caused if you do not correctly encode interlaced materials.

to tell you more i would need to get more information about what your original file format was and what you did with your videos

Steve, the only thing I have done is - as far as I know - that I have downloaded them.
Before my reinstallation, there was no stripes in the replay of the files. Then I had ace mega codec pack. But unfortunately I downloaded stinkey's codec by a mistake and suddenly there was this stripe-problem.
I tried everything to solve the problem, but nothing happened.
So I decided to make a reinstallation of xp.

Now, after the reinstallation I only have tried to download the codec one by one. And now there is stripes. But the stripes is not on every moviefile. Especially the mpeg-files are "suffering".
