Converting Ram to Avi

I some anime that is ram formatted but I wanted to convert it from ram to avi and then on to dvd so I can get it off my harddrive. If at all possible, does anyone know of any type of software that allows you to convert it this way. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

It would be far simpler and yield much better results to make a DVD by going back to your original source of the anime, whether a commercial DVD or a television capture.

If the original source is a commercial DVD, copy it using DVD Shrink or similar.

If it's a television capture, what is the video file format?

Well the anime was d/l, a friend did it and I got them off his h/d and that's how they were when I got them.
