I'm have just started trying to use MeGui and I beleive I have set up the program paths correctly by following the Guide. But I haven't been able to set up any profiles and I found Sharktooth's link with the profiles he created, but was unable to figure out how to uploaded them into MeGui. I've tried searching through the threads, but I haven't had much success. Can any one help?

Can you rename your title to "MeGUI: Loading / Creating Profiles?"? Since MeGUI is not the only GUI here, it will be less confusing. thanks!

They go in the profiles subfolder of the megui folder; if one isn't already there you have to create it.

The 'safe' way of doing it is to either (a) drag the zip file containing the profiles onto the MeGUI window or (b) go File->Import Profiles

Alright, I copied the profiles into MeGui to the profile folder, but I still don't see them in the program as an option. I also don't have the optionto go to File>Import Profiles either. I have version 0.2.3.2116 installed, is there a different version? I was able to create my own video profile, but I still get an error message that says I have to choose a video and audio profile first.

Where is dgindex.exe suppose to be located? I keep gettng an error message stating that it can't be located but I have pointed it to it and verified that I was correct.

loading and creating profiles came in 0.2.3.2121. The newest version around at the moment is 0.2.3.2129. Get that.
Try making your dgindex jobs again. If that doesn't work, then post a log and/or screenshot (use imageshack for the screenshot, not the forum attaching mechanism).

get it here: http://files.x264.nl/force.php?file=./Sharktooth/megui/MeGUI-0.2.3.2129.7z
use the very latest 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html) version to decompress the archive.

Thanks. I appreciate the help. I'll try it later (dealing with the Monday grind) and I'll let you know how I make out.

FYI...I was able to do a my 1st film. I used Sharktooth's max speed profile and it worked fjust fine. I went the manual route just because I need more time to play with MeGui to figure things out. I have another questions though;
1 - What do I need to do to get subtitles?
