vob blanker no preview

my preview in vob blanker is solid black, ive tried to use a different download and restoring the defaults, but nothing. the tiny preview and the main preview quit working, right in the middle of a project
please help

Have you checked under "Settings">>"More Settings"?

Check "Do not use overlay" in settings panel.
Try with and w/o checking the box.

Also, be sure no other application is using the graphics HW. If you're not sure, do a reboot and start VobBlanker and no other applications.

thanks for your post. I tried what you said to no avail!
I couldn't think of anything except it was my comp.
so I did a system restore and now everything is back to normal. I hope that never happens again:)
