Hi!I was trying to cut a video and i used fast recompressIf all you are doing is cutting, you should set "Video to "Direct Stream Copy", not "Fast recompress...

direct stream only does it on keyframesAnd, as I understand it, that's why it retains synchronization...

So is there a way to recopress a vid and audio which the audio can exactly work on Vdub or Nandub?

If you mean so that you can cut on any frame, I guess you could change the file to "one keyframe every frame", re-save and then re-open and cut...

haflway between the movie the audio was out.I'm sorry, I interpreted this to mean that halfway through the movie, the audio went out of synch.
If you'resaying that you lose the audio entirely, please do the following:
1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub
2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"
3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
By the way, why are you using VirtualDub v.1.3c - is your original file an .ASF or .WMV?

All I see is a static picture that says "Pictiger". It's neither a live image nor a live link...

Before pursuing this any further, I'd still suggest you use a more current version of VirtualDub or VirtualDubMOD - and see if that simple change doesn't resolve your problem...
