Fragmented MP4 (moof)

hi guys,

I have seen an older thread discussing fragmented MP4 files. Basically, I have the same questions:

- how can I easily got a fragmented MP4 file (using moof)
- which players do support it (vlan, 3iVX, nero???)?

Please be responsible. Your rule #8 says that a post must be added to the appropriate section. You can easily guess that I have difficutly determining which one is the most appropriate one. Sending a warning can only make you look over-efficient but common sense must also be complied by. We are here to solve our problems, not follow rules.

i would say this would fit in the new containers section (unless you want to code a tool to create fragmented mp4s)

you can create those files with mp4box. i wouldnt count on many parsers/players to handle fragmented mp4 files tough (i think 3ivx does it)
