Editing an already authored DVD (from a recorder)

I own a Liteon 5007 dvd recorder.

I often record multiple shows to the same disc. I was wondering if there was any way to trim the begining and end of these shows, while retaing the menu generated by the machine? The menus generated by the unit are ugly, but simple and effective....

Right now, I either reauthor with Shrink and loose menus, or use TDA to make a new menu.

I was thinking maybe a program like PGCedit or DVD Remake could help me with this?

I believe DVD Remake Pro can do this.


A couple free alternatives:

Reauthor with Shrink and import the dvd recorder menus with PGCEdit. This may require modifying the button commands with the menu editor and changing pre/post commands.

The beta version of VobBlanker 2.1.1 supports cell cutting.

Video Dude, it is simpler to import back the reauthored titles in the original DVD with File -> Replace VTST Titles. This way, you don't have to fix the nav commands. Works well if your reauthored title has the same number of cells than the original one.
