Mp4 tags in tooltips?

I've searched all round and cannot find an answer, i've got the latest YAMB and tried tagging an mp4 file i had encoded, tried both atomicparsley and mp4tag.exe

the tagging seems to work (when i close yamb, run it again and load the mp4 file, the tags are there) but i can't view them in any app, let alone see them in tool tips. is it possible?

AFAIK only MPC, Winamp, iTunes and QuickTime are able to display the tags. What kind of tool did you use ?

i just tried with mp4tags.exe, still nothing except when i open them again in yamb, the tags are there. seems yamb is the only program that can view the tags :( how do i view them in mpc?

What kind of tags did you set ?

and did you have the MPC XP/2k version or some other ?

tried typing something in all tags, including title, album, artist, comments, etc

i have got the win2k/xp mpc, from sourceforge. i cannot view the info by either ctrl+3/view>information, or file>properties. the only program that can display the tags is yamb itself
