I've been reading various threads on this topic, but can't seem to find anything relating to PSP (non AVC) files, and using atomchanger.

I've basically created a MPEG4 .AVI file, using mencoder, with XVID as the video codec and AAC as the audio codec.
I've managed to mp4box these into a iPod compatiable file - no problem.

What I can't seem to do, is do the same for a PSP compat file.

Most of the docs/threads talk about Atomchanging a H264 encoded AVI into a PSP Mp4 file, but nothing for non-H264 (us PSP v1.50 users can't use H264 mp4 from the memory stick!)

Is it just a case of getting the right ATOM.INI file ? if so can someone point me in the right direction please ?

Can mp4box do it ? I can't get anything other than the PSP saying incompatible data.

many thanks

you need right frame size (resolution) and to place it in MP4 IIRC.
Then you have to "patch" the mp4.

Maybe some elder here can help you more.

I'm using the standard res (if such a thing exists)... of 368x208

which is a support PSP res for both H264 and ASP encoded MP4's
