Question about mod16 and x264

This has been discussed before but I have read differing opinions.

Does it really matter now if x264 has a non mod16 resolution or is encoding still better if mod16 is used?

Sorry Nurbs. you are right of course. I am just trying to take in alot of new information for me and I must have forgotten to search well enough for this one. I have been looking up all sorts of things.

'mod16' is not a obvious, 'mod 16' would be, if the poor board search can handle that is another question.
