ISO output by NeroRecode 2.2.6.17 seems to have the problem.
Even though Single-Layer size, it divides the cell and adds layer-break like below.

This value agrees with above cell's layer-break.

And LBA of files seems to have the problem.
1)some files are overlapping
2)Error is when ripping IFO and BUP of VTS which has layer-break.
3)creat gaps between files.(It's not the problem itself)

Hi!

1) What is the Title and Region of the DVD?

2) Are you ripping a commercial DVD and using DVD43 or AnyDVD at the same time with DVD Decrypter? - or is it an unprotected burned DVD?

1)LION LING 3, Region_1(Japan).

2)First, ripping File-Mode by DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0.(protected DVD)
Next, compress and output ISO by NeroRecode 2.2.6.17.
Next, mount this ISO by DaemonTools.
Next, ripping File-Mode by DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0.(unprotected DVD,but not burned)

By the way,
this problem is found and reported a week before at first in JAPAN, and several people tested and confirmed the same problem,too.
I don't usually use ISO-output but HardDisc-output,so I've never noticed, and I tested and confirmed the same problem,too.

Sorry if it is a known bug.
It is a bug that Nero is not aware of or they apparently don't care about. The NRG (their version of ISO) output did work properly several versions ago. However, like you my 2.2.6.17 version of Recode does not work properly in the NRG output (Has the Layer Break problem). BTW, if I use Recode, I output to a HD folder then use CloneDVD2 in "write to existing data " mode to create an ISO so I can then burn with ImgBurn.
Otherwise, if minimal transcoding is needed I use Shrink.
When I do need to reduce the size of my backup I then use my preferred app. "DVD Rebuilder Pro".

Sorry, I misspelled. "LIon King 3" is correct.

=>Yes.
Or do you mean did I failed to rip?
=>I think I didn't failed. It's my usual method.
And this problem is confirmed by other people in JAPAN.

There are some other threads on the subject of the Recode Layer Break bug but I can't find them. But, as you indicated there are others in Japan that have this problem as well. So, it is not an isolated event.
Besides, I have had this problem as well as those in the link I posted, among many others.

The LB problem is following Recode so the problem must be with Recode.

Edit:We are talking about backups to single layer DVD-5 media...Not Dual Layer.
If you must use Recode then use the method I posted earlier about using CloneDVD2 to create an Iso which can then be burned with ImgBurn.
Folder2ISO is another app. to use to build the ISO.

No, I don't know for certain what version is without the bug.

However, one might guess that it started with that first version of Recode that supported DL (Dual layer) disks.

I'd rather not guess at why you've chosen to edit the log to exclude the beginning information and replace the key information with asterisks, so I'll just wish you luck in resolving your dilemma ;>}

One could now speculate that your original source material is the cause of your problem...
