Hi,
I'm trying to re-encode an MPEG1 video I have to save space, but somewhere in the middle of the encoding process Vdubmod throws me an "incomplete frame" error. Is there anyway I can fix this?

Thanks!

Hi!

Try the following:

Load the file into VirtualDubMOD and from the "Video" dropdown menu select "Scan videostream for errors" , then select scan - and if any bad frames are identified, select "Mask bad frames"...

Cool. I actually tried demultiplexing the mpeg video with tmpegenc and then working on the demultiplexed video stream and it encoded fine. When I tried to multiplex it back and work on that though there was a problem. Anyway, I've deleted the original mpeg video since I've reencoded it, but thanks for the help. I'll try that the next time I have such problems.

yes, almost all errors with mpg comes from audio, demux and remux could fix.

also just delete bad frames.
