Distorted image

Im getting distortion at the bottom, how should i tackle this?

I am trying to capture from a VCR tape. I get the same distortion on two different VCR:s.
I dont get distortion if I capture regular tv programs from the antenna signal. And no distortion if I watch the movie on the TV cuz that part is cut out of the frame.

Hi,

I can`t see the attachements but, if distortion at bottom is about six lines height then it is the normal VCR heads distortion. Normally this zone is not visible in an ordinary TV (overscan zone). Your monitor shows the whole image, so you notice them. My solution is, often, crop this zone or replace by solid color. I don't know another solution but all ordinary VCR produces them and doubt any special VCR can aid.
