Hi,
the WinDVD Platinum users here will know that the "Progressive" setting of the deinterlace filter in WinDVD offers outstanding and crystal clear image quality (in contrast to Bob and Weave).
Well, now I'm asking myself if there is any way to get this filter working with Avisynth for MPEG2 -> MPEG4 transcoding.
You can use the DirectSource filter (Intervideo Video Decoder), but this will give you only Bob or Weave deinterlacing without the "Progressive" quality.
I tried already some other deinterlace plugins, but none of them was as good as Intervideo's.
Is there any way to get this working somehow?
