I have an Emuzed Dual Tuner TV card and having a problem getting the audio in a TV capture. It works fine with Media Center (recording in dvr-ms format), but not with VirtualDub nor Virtual VCR. Reading through the posts, the most common suggestion is to run a cable from the TV card audio output to the sound card input. Well, I don't have an audio output. :(
However, I did find that when I use Windows Movie Maker I am able to select "Angel Audio" for the audio device, and it will successfully capture the audio. But in VirtualDub (as well as Virtual VCR) the Audio Device drop down box doesn't have "Angel Audio" listed, only my sound card is available.

Is there a way to get the "Angel Audio" to be listed in the Audio Device box for other programs other than WMM?

At the very least a way to get WMM to allow other codecs other than the WMV library?

I, too, have this issue with my own USB capture card. Windows Movie Maker shows my capture card's audio input as an option but Virtualdub doesn't (only my laptop mic input). I'd appreciate any help on this as well.

Perhaps a wrapper of some sort that helps Vdub pickup my capture device?

Why not just go from your output device (TV, satellite) to the line-in of your sound card?
