Ah that Gui for FFMPEG it doesn't use DIVX (it can create DivX 3.11 compatible files tough) it's useing XviD :)

yes it does use Divx...it says Divx codec there...there is an xvid option too

Yes, but this is not the DivX (Mpeg-4 Codec) by DivX Inc its the one from FFMPEG and SUPER only encodes in Plain Simple Profile with it (very weak) the whole thing looks very buggy and the cli applications it comes with are allready outdated.
I would sugest you DR.DivX more then this buggy stuff if you want to encode into Mpeg-4 ASP by DivX Inc :P
and if you want to encode with Super anyways better use Output = XviD , DivX creates some hefty problems here (to fast motion and no sound also its dependent on what you select Directshow (wich seems to use avisynth) or Internal decoding wich uses ffmpeg,mencoder but anyways it allways encodes into Simple Profile and has no option for size setting and advanced codec features so be carefull with it it definately still needs alot of work from the author side :)

for dr. divx can u just rename the .divx extension to .avi (thats what I heard)

provided there is no menus or advanced stuff in there just a plain simple movie

and i wanted to encode divx in MP4 but MEGUI was too messed so I tried Super and according to your response doesnt work good
