I'm ripping a movie into 3cd's and I did the 3rd cd first to see if the audio was correct. but the video is ahead of it. I'm positive I cut the wav correctly tho.

1st cd 1:16:26.582
2nd cd 1:16:26.916
3rd cd 1:16:20.076

I cut the wav file with delaycut like this:

1st cd: 0-4586582
2nd cd: 4586582-9173498
3rd cd: 9173498-13753574

when I ripped audio to ac3 instead of wav it had a 16ms delay. so I've also tried pushing the wav numbers by 16 but that didnt help either.

please help me

What encoder and settings do you use to convert wav to ac3?.

You can see similar problem at:

I use dgindex to decode to wav, deafult audio settings as far as I know. and I'm not converting to ac3 it's from ac3 to wav. just can't figure it out.

edit:

I had to force film if that's makes any difference?

Sorry, I don't understand your problem first time.

Try to cut the extracted ac3, instead the wav, with DelayCut and see the log. Maybe there are corrupted frames causing the out off sync.

I tried that, no errors reported. very strange.
