Hi Community.

When you got a Video with "true" Interlacing and you deinterlace it then you loose Motion Information.

Is there a method in AviSynth available , to do something like
"Lossless DeInterlacing" ?

Double Framerate or VFR Output is not a Problem.

Thank you for any advice.

Try IBob. It's the only bobber I can think of that only interpolates the new field and never touches the old. (Same-rate output is obviously impossible to have something similar.) For nearly lossless, separatefields.Eedi2(field=-2) will do a, er, smart dumb bob and largely leave the original field unaffected. And as long as a clip is reasonably coherent - not crazy jerky or full of flashes of light - mvbob is exceedingly good, both in spatiotemporal detail and ability to reinterlace later, but exceedingly slow.
