hi,
newbie here. i am trying to create a delayed button motion menu. i have followed the instructions from the help file included in DLP, and spent a good portion of today reading in the forum, trying to understand what i am missing---now i am brain fried and need help.
i have placed the m2v into my only menu. i have added 5 text buttons to the menu (which are linked to 5 seperate movies). i have dragged the"L" (loop point mark) to where i want the buttons to appear--(so i have an intro cell 1 and a loop cell 2). next i right click on the menu and go to the render menu motion,and render it. however while watching the preview window in the render menu motion box, the text buttons are present during the whole motion menu. i do know about the buttons cut feature in the intro effect, and i am not interested in using this. i want to learn how to do this correctly using delayed buttons and menu cells. can anyone out there give me a kick in the arse?

thanks for your valuable time, Labb'in

@newhaven

To delay the buttons you have to use "Intro Effect" in DVDLab's Render Motion Menu window.
Use "Buttons Cut" for e.g. 5 sec (use your own delay time of course).
After rendering is complete, drag the "L" (loop point mark) to right (again 5 sec) to delay the highlights too.
