Encoded alot of dvds on nero recode at 720x480 and they worked fine on my powerbook. Now on the MacBook in quicktime the audio will not work.
Interestinly enough, the dvds that i ripped off my tiVo box and encoded through nero work fine, but the traditional dvds will not play audio.
The audio does work fine in VLC, but for Front Row the audio needs to work in quicktime. Is this simply a quicktime bug?
The apple trailers work great, and it seems like my 720x480 movies lag or glitch more than the hd trailers whick run perfect.
Lastly, there are black borders on the sides of my widescreen movies in quicktime, but not in VLC. There were no black borders on my powerbook. Anyway to fix this, maybe a different resolution. Any MacBook Pro users out there?
