I have a audio extract from DVD Music video and a file extracted from CD.

The file extracted from the DVD contains vocal, and the one from CD contains no vocal (Instrumental).

And I want to create a dual audio stream karaoke music video (i have made the karaoke subtitle already).

How can i sync the two file so that they much with the video? (the video is the video from the DVD, so the audio from the DVD is already in sync with the video, I have to due with the file from the CD)

I know I need to add slience to the audio file from the CD, but how can i do that accurately?

Here is the wave from of the files:

Open both WAVS in a multitrack audio editor such as the open souce Audacity. Align then there and you will see how much silence you must add to either of them for them to be in sync.

From the screenshot seems that the 1st part isn't far to be done :)
Since the video and the dvd audio are already syncronized, chromium is right: just synchronize the cd track and it will be ok.
Trick: if you want to check the result with video before muxing, the 1st thing coming to my mind is FLStudio DEMO. I admit it't not an easy software for a newbye, but it also allows you to load a video and play it together with audio samples.
If you set a delay in the cd audio sample, just play the entire project and see the video with both audio tracks playing without having to process the file a lot of times.. when you find the right delay just set it into Audacity and it's done, you can mux.
I hope this helps :)
