I've been testing Nero Recode 2 doing encoding in Standard AVC and it doesn't appear to scale with my processor speed. The encoding times seem to be the same from 2.0ghz to 3.0ghz. Is this normal? I always thought the faster the cpu speed the faster the encoding.
My system specs:
Athlon 64 x2 2.0ghz (can OC with water to 3.0ghz)
2gig ram
36 x 2 raptors (raid 0)
ATI x800
With autogk encoding in xivd, I get faster encodes as the cpu speed scales up, but it doesn't appear to work with nero recode 2.
Anyone have same results with nero recode 2?
