i have just started getting popups whenconverting

started a conversion overnight and this morning i had seven or eight windows to close, didnt think much about it.

just now having started another conversion an ie popup appears and since im using firefox and i had nothing else open i know this is nothing i was doing.

Never known this from D2S - it does have a banner ad but you can turn that off in the Misc tab.

I would do a full virus scan and a full adware scan.

thanks nick ewido and adware scans have come back clean, was not aware of the option to turn the banners off LOL

having done that and run another conversion nothing came up, it does sound to me like the banner created the popups.

Yeah,same here...seems the ad creators D2S cooperates with have gotten a bit more agressive lately.

Won't turn banners off though, as long as all that happens are a few popups that open I can live with it, I think it's okay to genereate some money for that great app :)

I made the change last week and I had no idea that those new banners would be filled with popups, spywre and javascript errors. I have now flamed the advertiser and replaced the banners with harmless eyecandy. (It's actually thumbnails from a new site me and a buddy have made over the past year or so, feel free to come visit)

If you ever get popups or shit like that don't hesitate to mail me...
