Hi to all!
I have a Track that contains 2 subtitles. I would like to know if it's possible with Scenarist (like in DVDMaestro) to "hide" the subpicture streams.
In particular:
I create a 2 Titles in a VTS with their own PGC. I drag the track to Title1\PGC1 and the track to Title2\PGC2 (so I have one video really muxed that is shared on 2 PGCs). Now I would like to have the PGC1 with first subtitle mapped and PGC2 with only second subtitle mapped as #1 so a user can select to activate the subpicture or disable it but in the first case it activate the real 1st subpicture and in the second case it activate the real 2nd subpicture (mapped as stream #1).
I have found the "Subicture availability flag policy" but I haven't found yet a way to successfully use it (it make errors during compiling).
I can do this correctly in DVDMaestro but I dunno how to do that in Scenarist (i wish it support this kind of feature)
Someone knows how to do that?
Really many thanks!

ok I think I know what you mean

In the scenario editor if you click on the title for the title2 and in the property browser in the subpicture avaliability flag policy drop down box select custom and only tick 1 stream. Then select the pgc for that title and in subpicture attribute select the stream number 2

Make sense?

Yes it make sense and it's the same thing that i've made. The problem is that during compiling Scenarist stops and make an error saying that the Language in the PGC is different than the Language in the other PGC (and/or in the Title). So I cannot compile. During simulation it works (I only have the warning that says that the stream X is disabled). I dunno if this problem happends because I've in total 4 PGC and i have various combinations (1: 1st sub, 2: 2nd sub mapped as #1, 3: no sub, 4: another video w/o subs).
Thanks!

I've resolved the problem.
The main problem was that the 2 subpictures had different languages. Changing both to "Not specified" resolved the problem. Thanks.
Only one question. If I need to enable the second subtitled (mapped as #1) do I need to use SetSTN=1 or SetSTN=2? (i think the second right?)
Thanks again!
