question - How to do a hybrid IVTC ?

Hi friends

I explane, I have a xvid movie with following structure:

framerate 29.97
AR 4:3 full screen

I would like to reencode with right IVTC

I tried to do every myself knew kind of Inverse telecine.
the movie is in strange way, opening with Virtualdub mod scrolling frame by frame results the following frames:

AAAABBCCCCDDEEEEFFGHH

so 4-2-4-2-4-2-1-2

I have to take 4, remove 1, take 4, remove 1, take 4, remove 1, take 1, remove 1 and so on...

how can i do to do it and to arrive at 23.976??

TIVTC was made for doing hybrid ivtc. Check out the avisynth page (http://www.avisynth.org/VariableFrameRateVideo) on working with it.

However, this pattern probably won't be picked up, so a few more details or a sample would help. Is it interlaced, where this is the separatefields output? Has it been deinterlaced? (Avoid if possible.) Is it obviously jerky, or is it supposed to have a strange pattern? Does the pattern continue regularly or haphazardly? This is where an unprocessed sample would help.
