user action oddity in maestro

a year or so ago I authored a disc where all user actions selectable in maestro have not been disabled.

pop it in the player, when I want to skip the intro and get right to the menu, using chapter skip button, it does just that.

fast forward a year. authoring another disc. same thing, only now it won't do it once the disc is in the player. check the project. yup, nothings been disabled.

suggestions. is there some magic tick box I've missed?

Are you using the SAME dvd player? All players have different approach in dvd authoring (some variations at least). In particular there are players that skip the latest chapter point and go to the next title (or post command) and players that doesn't allow to skip the latest chapter. In Maestro there are 2 checkboxes in the PUOs to disable (forced) the latest chapter skip (for those players that allow to skip the latest chapter). There is no way to force (enabled) the chapter skip.. well you can specify the "next" command in the movie to allow that but then the player will not allow you to do a time search.

previously it would skip chapters if I told it to. ie single chapter vob's, now it won't
