1. Proper multiangle support: I still can't get it to work :(

But on a PC, doesn't everyone just use a mouse instead of poking around with a keypad? (Except when you use a real remote, and then you don't need on screen controls.)

In that case you need another piece of software, eg. girder, which tranlslates the keystrokes to MPC, and it has an OSD feature too. Of course that software must support your remote type (in case of you the keyboard, if I get you right).

No no, I think I didn't make myself clear enough. I'd like to see those buttons as part of MPC's menu, just as the play, stop and pause ones so I can click on them instead of being forced to use the keyboard.

You can use the mouse to click on dvd titles, options, and so on directly, in all PC DVD players. No need to use the keyboard at all.

(Of course multiangle support would still be welcome.)

Depends on the DVD. I have several where the left/right/up/down functions can only be accessed via remote but there will be nothing highlighting on the screen, hence nothing for the mouse to click when playing it on a PC. The Big Trouble In Little China SE DVD is one example of this, it's gallery has no on-screen < or >.
